The weather was good today but windy. I got to sandblast my hood hinge and get it painted. did some touchup painting around the firewall where the old ac was. Started repairing the dents on the drivers fender.

Got some dynamat in today and finished up the floor. Also put some on the gas tank. I will do the doors and kick panels later. i ordered some mirrors from a streetrod site and after I mount them i'll be able to put the doors back together.

Re: Thelonerifes 72 stepper

I got the drivers door smoothed out. I had put a bottom skin on the door and put a skim of filler on the seam. So now its primed and I need to get a long block so I can do it right...i also got the old exhaust put on. I cut what I could use since it was a 3/4 ton with leaf springs that it came off of. It ends right at the end of the mufflers. This is temporary. But it will work till I get enough dough to get it all done.

Re: Thelonerifes 72 stepper

I got in the new crossmember for the tranny, and put it on. It is so much better than stock. You can get to the four bolts on the back of the pan so much easier. I also painted the transmisssion pan and valve covers.

I got to look inside the motor a little bit when I took the valve covers off. It is very clean. The po said the motor was rebuilt and it looks clean!

Mother in law got it from Harbor Freight. It's a 110 volt wire welder - gasless.
