also you may want to pull in and angle those upper mounts in the front. looks like those bags are going to be seeing some stress during travel.

That DPF is off my dad's company's towing truck, a Dodge 3500 with 238,000 miles and doing good...

I will get some new pictures of everything pretty soon, I think I have that bag issue fixed...

You own extreme diesel power?!?! I would also love to see some pictures of the 01 Chevy with the cummins and possibly the others, I'm also a BIG diesel fan. It's the smoke and torque of a diesel or the rough idle of a v8...

Got the front end nearly complete, now I need the sway bar and shocks and get the motor and tranny in and run all the lines...

Also, really like the dropped duramax, but I would change a few things on it, take off the fender flares, get some wheels, paint the door handles and the plastics on the front bumper to match and it would be one awesome truck, but I know it takes money and might not be your style but just sayin lol

yea there is a build thread on gmfullsize and Duramaxdiesels.

my dmax is actually getting redone over the winter. i've got black 22s for it too. door handle buckets and plastics will be painted and if i have the money i want to finish the Quadrasteer bed i have for it. personally i'm a fender flare person. i have a set that i might run on the reg cab too. gives it a tougher stance imo. also i'm making the reg cab 8 lug too.

Ok, that's cool. I would at least paint the fender flares, then I don't mind them at all on a 4x4. But good thing everyone is different or else everything would get really boring...

Not an update on the truck just yet... But here's what I designed to haul it around on (that is if I won't always be driving it) once it's done. It was actually built my my dad's trailer company, but it was mostly my idea and my design... It sit's on bags and boy does it ride smooth! We will be building a lot more of these if we can sell them.
All the way up, 40 psi when empty, 30 would be about right for ride heighth and right around 100 psi when all the way loaded.


And down, all you gotta do is flip two switches instead of pulling out ramps...

Finally a small update... but then again a huge one considering it's what I've been waiting for a year and a half!!! Finally got my engine back, totally rebuild and then some. It's getting painted yet along with the tranny, and also different valve covers. Also ordered a bunch of stuff today so should finally be seein some more progress soon

I also need crossmember ideas between the front and the part where it goes up in the back... Will just 2 or 3 straight across do, or do I need an X anywhere?

Got the transmission and the block painted... Planning on doing the heads and intake the color of the transmission or do you think I should just leave it natural aluminum?

Besides that, hopefully everyone starts seeing progress on it this summer! I am really hoping to crank up the motor within a month and having it driving by the end of summer... but probably won't happen.

that trailer is badass what's the price tag on one of those? They kinda of remind me of the motorcycle trailers extensive was building back in the day.
