Re: 68 Four door build

Not sure if I missed this but as bad as the new truck was smashed are you going to have to straighten the frame at all?

Can't think of a reason not to as long as you have the ability. I don't, so it wouldn't be a good idea for me. But I will strongly endorse someone else to make it happen.

i personally dont care for suicide doors unless it is a radical custom , just my 2 cents, depends on what overall look you are going for

Re: 68 Four door build

I'm not a fan on most vehicles but I did see these on a crew cab and it seemed to make rear entry easier/more convenient.

Re: 68 Four door build

Here is the gauge cluster Im going to use out of the 2011 silverado , I will make a bezel like the original 68 but with the holes to line up with this cluster.I think this will look pretty good and function great with the digital read out of my new running gear.

Re: 68 Four door build

Looks like the 07-up cluster and heater controls lend themselves more to our trucks than the 99-06 stuff does.

Nice project. Keep it up.

x2

I'd like to build a 4-door Suburban with a reduced wheel base & rear overhang to make it fit onto a 2000-up Tahoe chassis.
