Re: Picture Thread: Parts

bed side tool box lock parts for the lock installation, only. The last pic is the stainless steel cap that's been peeled off the top of the lock so the inside of the lock can be accessed/cleaned, then a new cap is pressed back on. just a few odd parts

Re: Picture Thread: Parts

Special K, very funny. Precious indeed. Certainly nothing grand, but they will fill a hole with the exact right part and that's very cool (thanks to RenoKeene.) It's worth the effort. You still have a box o parts coming from me if i ever get it together to mail it out!

Did you ever play the game of picking up a part and guessing what it was for? I've done this w/ bicycles. i'd totally lose if i played it using truck parts!

Re: Picture Thread: Parts

This thread needs to wake up Tim! here are some pics of ????? NOS ??? I dont know what they are but there are boxes and boxes and boxes of them here. Maybe someday I will get time to go through them and sell them. I will give you a discount if you identify them.

Re: Picture Thread: Parts

Kewl! I can look up the numbers in my parts book. The first picture shows packaging from '66-earlier.

Lemme see if I have anything new...

Tim I believe you valve cover is an impostor. The slash is going the wrong way. I read about these knock offs else where. Maybe they were made by Maryland \ Tim instead of Mickey / Thompson

Re: Picture Thread: Parts

This is like when I bring parts I find home... My parents go nuts, but I know that if you can get the part, someone out there wants it. All parts are worth some money and once you get that money it goes into the truck!

Isn't that funny? I never paid any attention to that. Those came on my '72 K/20 Cheyenne Super I bought in '91 from California. I took them off and they've been stashed till recently. I stripped the wrinkle finish off and they are polished underneath. I was thinking about having that blank area engraved with "Sierra Grande" since no one makes cool stuff for GMC engine dress-up.
