Re: Chucks 72 Cheyenne Custom Camper

The guy that I was talking to when you guys left to go home was telling me he had 2- 67, 69 and a 71 to get rid of and see them go to good use as projects or donor parts so maybe I will be getting more inventory for everyone to look over.

I would do my very best to stay away from anything called a "crush nut". But I like the way that toolbox looks in the truck.

Thanks Matt. I got to drive it to work today and the heater/defroster works good.I do need to clean it out though. I think it could be better.

Re: Chucks 72 Cheyenne Custom Camper

That's good that you got to drive it. I bet it took some of the sting away of having to go back.

Thats for sure. I filled the tank the other day and the needle moved over past full and has moved down a little. I'm keeping an eye on it. Hope I don't have to change the sending unit, as when I filled it I didn't smell any fumes in the cab. I assume theres no leaks.

The radio sound kept cutting out today. Hit a bump it would come on for a second then quit. So I suspect that the same person put the radio in that did the speakers in the doors. (poor job)

In that vid, there's a super badazz moderately lowered c-20, burgundy with a white top, with factory 10" wide white wheels that just gets my motor hummin'. Glad you're getting progress!

Re: Chucks 72 Cheyenne Custom Camper

I managed to get Tonto stuck in my yard today. We're having too much rain! I had to hose off the truck and the driveway. My wife rode in the truck for the first time today too. She said it needs some Febreeze lol.

btw it was 82 in Cape Coral FL today.

on a sad note, I left my sago palm out too long and I think the frost got it.

Re: Chucks 72 Cheyenne Custom Camper

That is so true.

Its my turn for work day in our group here in Middle TN. I hope we can get my other truck stopping and running. I think we may get something done on Tonto too. I know we'll have a good time regardless.

Re: Chucks 72 Cheyenne Custom Camper

Hahaha. Get a cool plug Matt.
Well today was the day that a bunch of great guys showed up to help me on my trucks. Tonto had his power steering box surgically removed by Josh and Himey. The lines were so old and froze up with rust that the lines just started twisting. I have new lines ordered. I'll get the replacement box and lines on some time next week. Bryan and Jeff and I got the replacement rotors and brake pads on too. I hope it stops better as I had to almost stand on it one day last week to keep from hitting a car.
Thanks again all you guys for showing up and working on my trucks. I look forward to working on your trucks too. Heres some pics.

Re: Chucks 72 Cheyenne Custom Camper

I picked up my new pressure line today. My son's going back to Murfreesboro tonight and he'll be leaving for Chicago on the first. I won't see him for a while. So I'll work on the truck later this week.
