Thanks for the nice comments! It feels good to actually see and drive my vision.
It has 3:73 gears. It cruises at about 2300 rpm at 75mph. Fuel economy is horrible, probably 15mpg. I'm working on tuning it with a wide band oxygen sensor to improve my fuel economy. Here is a picture of the engine compartment, before I was finished though..

This is my 71 flatbed. This truck was originally ordered as a cab chasis & the bed was put on @ the dealership. It was originally the service truck for the gulf station in Hickory, NC.
