Re: Header Solution

Hmmm...same problem here Weircc. Just installed mine today..BB/w 3'' ball
collector. After the initial shock ...I thought I could solve the problem
by ordering the ECE trans mount. But now, after seeing Hart Rod's with the
mount installed, I don't believe that will fix the problem (could be wrong)
I only have about an inch and a half before the ball of the header touches
the tranny mt. The headers sit just low enough that it is questionable if the
ECE mt. will fix the issue. I have attached a few pics so maybe someone
can help with a solution. Only thing I know to do at this point is to have a
custom trany mt. made

Re: Header Solution

By the way...this is a great set of headers. Just hope we can get around
this fitment issue without to much hassel.

Re: Header Solution

Well It doesn't really seem like too many people are interested. I will wait a little longer but I need to do something with my exhaust soon to get my truck on the road.

Re: Header Solution

Did the fitment problem get corrected, or do the headers still interfere with the stock tranny crossmember?
