Re: Our new 69C10 project

Everything looks to be coming together! My son is home over spring break. If you're around we will try to swing by to meet you and the boys...and see the truck. Very, very nice job you all are doing.
PS It would be great to have a Portland/NW get together to meet and see some great trucks!

Had to send out the temp guage for repairs and it should be back this week and then we are going to fire her up finally. Looks like the fenders, hood and cowl are almost complete as well. Best of all I have room in the shop thanks to this forum and everyone helping us get the extra parts out of here, almost all our extra parts are gone and I can move a bit now.
Wow Truck is looking Great..Way to go boys....What are you using for wire covering, and did you use it on the firewall rain gutter....Ed.

We are using the wire loom from American autowire in 1/4, 1/2 & 3/4, its a heavy black woven loom that works really great, looks very clean, I`ll post a pic of it on.

Ed, there is no link, you will have to call them as just ask to order them, they come in 14,1/2 and 3/4 inch looms, I will take a pic today and post it, sorry I have not gotten to it yet.

Re: Our new 69C10 project

Now we just need to figure out how to get the right back spacing from the front bumper to the grill, its about 3/4 off from sided to side with the spacing on the top of the bumper between the ends of the grill. It was the same when I removed the old cab, so I know its not the cab or fenders, I think its the bumper brackets, so we will try a little massaging and snap a few more pics so we can set the new cowl hood in place. Thanks for all the positive support!

Re: Our new 69C10 project

Ok, we fixed our bumper spaceing, it was an easy one, just loosen everything and shift with a bit of enlongation of one hole and then mounted the cowl, wipers, antenna, washer bottle and fixed a few little things. Heres a few more pics.
