Need a bigger garage?

My wife has a new job and we have been sorta kinda looking for some property or another house. Well a buddy of mine is a real estate agent and has been prodding me to let him find us something. Well he calls today for us to come have a look at this little place with a "nice little garage with a guest bungalow upstairs".

Oh yeah baby! A carpeted garage with central heat and cooling. Four regular bays and one that looks like it was for an RV. He said the previous owner kept a helicopter in there.

Oh and there was a competion grade tennis court.

And a jucuzzi that made a waterfall into the pool.

A bit of a view.

A cozy little fireplace.

Another shot of the pool.

And the front door.

Re: Need a bigger garage?

I love the house and there is enough room there for all your trucks and cars in that garage.I dont like the carpeted garage idea though.Garage is worthy of parking your trucks for sure though

Sweet place. I can train my dog not to pee on the carpet, but my trucks too?

Re: Need a bigger garage?

I can't afford it and apparently neither could the previous owner as it is in foreclosure. Supposedly the guy who lived here was involved in embezelment and money laundering. It's priced to sell at a bargain price of $900,000! Oh and there is room for three more cars in the garage that is built in to the house , that brings it up to a total of 7 bays plus the monster RV bay. The house itself is right at 8000 sq ft not counting the three bedroom guest house that is above the four car garage. This was more of sight seeing trip than a shopping trip (thank god , I don't think I could pay the power bill on it).

Jeebus...lots of room but it seems like it would be a PITA to wait for the Tram to come around everytime you needed to get a tool from the rack!

Re: Need a bigger garage?

that carpet is a fire hazard. using a torch and welder would cause instant havok. not to mention how hard it would be to so burnouts in there.
can the house be divided into apartments? then I would live above the garage and hopefully the rest would pay the mortgage.

Buy it. Live in the Garage and rent the house out to some gangsters or overpaid ball players

Now that's what I call a nice getaway shack. Nobody would look for me in a place like that.
