Exclamation 6" suspension lift

I am going to do a frame off conversion from a 4x2 into a 4x4 and was wondering what is the best suspension lift for the buck oh by the way it is a 1977 chevy swb 1\2 ton pickup, any help will be apprechiated, thanks?

how were you going to do this? swap tcase, axle, ds, and front suspension onto the 4x2 frame? a bit of info that we discusses recently as a member of the 73-87 forum is going to do the same, and you might come over there and hang out, the trans hump on a 4x2 is smaller than the trans hump on the 4x4. if you dont want to switch the humps you might consider a small body lift.

I swapped a 67 onto a 77 chassis and had the small hump. I used a body lift to make plenty of room for the trasnfer case. It is also important to make sure you have or make room for the distributor.

what I am planning on doing is I had somone give me a 3/4 ton long wheel base 4x2 with a 4-forward trans in it and was going to use that cab on the short wheel base frame, my brother has a 1/2 ton front and rear solid axles I was going to use not sure what they are.
