Nope, but I'd love to give it a try someday - maybe I will, hmmmm.

Truck didn't look too bad white.....but red is much better!
Never done any indoor mud racing but I've done some outdoor-side by side racing.

First time I looked at the pick, I didn't notice it was yours - now I really need to get mine done and give that a try. During the summer we do have a local group that travels around Kansas doing outdoor mud runs.

Hmmm, I have 19 acres, hmmm, wonder what the wife would think if . . .

Yep, outdoor with 2 lanes-side by side. Your actually racing against the other guy to the end. The mud isn't as deep though and your not timed. They have them every couple weeks around here.

More cool pics, they use to have mud runs every weekend here back in the 80's, I have a bunch of pics I just need to dig them out and see if there were any 67-72s. Alot of the trucks were set up strictly for racing, I remmember one called [ bend in the middle] it had no steering on the axles, the frame was hinged in the middle and used hydraulic rams for steering.

When I bought my truck I wanted to do some muddin. I fixed it up to drive daily but now that it's painted and carpeted and all I don't know... Ok, mud washes off. That just looks like too much fun!

I raced in the "Eastern Mud Racing Association" for 5 years. Every weekend there was a race somewhere. It wasn't side by side. You raced against the clock or who went the furtherest if it was really deep. Every track was different. I used to take two different sets of swampers with me and change them according to track conditions.
I got sick of laying under my truck and washing mud out of all the nook and crannies. Not to mention it promotes RUST! And gets into everything!
Now i just do dirt drags. Nice and clean!
And i go when i feel like it, not every weekend.
I guess i'm gettin old.
