Question OEM A/C question

this is my first post. I've been browsing the forum for about a year now. Thanks for all the great info.

the question today: does anyone have or know where to get, a diagram, manual or link that will show me the routing of the vacuum lines for my heater & A/C ??

It's a 69 C15 with all the OEM parts there. but nothing works. fuses are OK. the fan comes on by itself sometimes but I get no heat or cold.
I can hear vacuum leaks and several hose are broken or hanging loose. I'd like to replace all the hoses but it's not clear where they all go, or where they came from.
also, there is a vacuum acuated valve in one of the heater hoses, but there is no vacuum line in the engine compartment to hook it to. ideas?

I know I'm asking for a bunch of info so,
Thanks in advance for any reply.

I'm trying to do the same thing. I've got a Factory Assembly manual, i've been going through it when I have time. Most of the drawings in it are real shady though. It shows partial drawings and its hard to tell whats what on them too. I will look through them and scan a few pages when i get home.

thanks.

Low69CST,
I'll look forward to seeing anything you can find and scan.

RodC,
I'm sure the images on your website will give me some more direction.

Where do you find these chassis manuals where you got all those pictures? Those are some of the best illistrations i've ever seen. Way better than the thing I've got.

I drew them myself

just kiddn...

I picked mine up on ebay for about $15. Mine is an original print. You can buy reprints from various venders for aprox $25 but I have heard that some are not as good of quality as the orig. Keep watching ebay and post a wtb on the parts board.

Here is a thread that ran a while back with some images of what you are looking for:

those pics are very helpful.
thanks again.

PS. I know your efforts would be appreciated by most of the civilized GM truck world, if you scanned & posted more pages from you manual.
