Thanks! The air tanks are in the bed (one being a re-purposed nitrous tank), and the compressor is under the rear driver side of the bed.

Fabricated and mocked up my little hideaway nitrous arm and purge switch panel in the ashtray.

Re: Intro and Some Photos of my '63 Project

The two least favorite parts of a hot rod build - AC hoses and brake lines - has had me procrastinating since returning from vacation a few weeks ago. Starting to map out hose routing and will be making some AC hoses here shortly.

It's cool that you are running A/C...
No pun intended..
I dont have any creature comforts planned for my trucks like that, but starting to have second thoughts.
So, what compressor setup are you running? Doesn't look factory Pontiac.

Re: Intro and Some Photos of my '63 Project

Thanks! Yep, request from the wife after I decided on the ignition and fabricated the motor plate mount...ugh. The drive system ended up being way more complicated than expected. Because of the crank trigger and the front motor plate spacing in accommodating the serpentine drive, I had to fabricate all sorts of new spacers and adapters, etc. It's a Vintage Air kit.

Re: Intro and Some Photos of my '63 Project

I have a friend who opted to go with genuine Pontiac power.
He wants A/C and we're seeking original V-belt A/C parts.
My prostreet/protouring truck will be a minimalist truck having only power steering.
Being from the Phoenix area, heat isn't much of an issue to me... :-)

Yep, if I was going to add AC from the get-go, I would've done a regular V-belt drive system rather than the serpentine drive that I had traded for and thought it would make my life easier. LOL

Stainless brake lines are done. Now to take it apart and bench bleed the MC.

Got the AC hoses routed and installed, so I was able to re-mount the grill, hopefully for the last time. LOL

Thanks! I was able to finish up the interior AC installation and wiring, which allowed me to start wrapping up the interior (and finally got the bench seat out of my office. LOL)

Thanks! Just in case anyone is curious about how the Auto Custom Carpets floor mats fit in our trucks, I received these yesterday. The fit is great, but I still may use a rubber mat to help keep the carpet clean while I'm still trying to finish up this version of the build. The cool under dash courtesy light kit is from Ron Francis Wiring and is a reverse solenoid set up that is wired through the updated RFW headlight switch with the dome light.

Thanks! I was able to do a couple of systems checks in preparation for getting this thing rolling again. Fuel system test and priming the oil system:

Love your build Vin63 Question, looking at one of your interior pics I see a hat holder bracket that mounts on your rear mirror. Where can I find one of those? thanx.

Thanks! You can usually find them at horse tack/equestrian supply retailers (we have a horse), or custom/lowrider parts suppliers.

Re: Intro and Some Photos of my '63 Project

After replacing my old (20+ years old and several Pontiac builds) Tilton Pontiac starter that finally gave up the ghost with an IMI Hi Torque Performance Products starter (anytime I have to buy a new starter, I buy an IMI Hi Torque one), I hit the ignition switch today and voila! The Poncho C10 is alive.

Re: Intro and Some Photos of my '63 Project

Thanks! Yep, it has been...11 years on the back burner. I built and ran a nitro Funny Car to set a Pontiac recored, restored a 63 Pontiac Tempest and Buick Riviera, and now a AA/Fuel Altered within that time frame. LOL
