Re: Vent windows

Use the rubber from Precision https://www.prp.com/product/detail/1...ickup&type=All

These are a chore to rebuild imo. I’ve done three sets. The pivot rivet doesn’t need to be removed to rebuild unless you were going to rechrome the glass surrounds.

On Nos rubbers water soluble lubricant helps to set them into the channel but the repro rubber is more deformable and you probably won’t need it though it wouldn’t hurt.

Grind off the old rivets. You have more skills than I so maybe the OE style replacement rivets will work for you with the set tool provided. I made use of pop rivets like many others have done.

Do one at a time using the other as a template for reassembly.

Here’s one thread that might be useful: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=715546

Thanks for the help, pete. Just ordered from brothers, as I watched their video and wanted the wind window handle.
We'll see how it goes, and post up results

Thanks for the links, good read
