Project: Jayman931's 69' C-10 Long Bed build Stage 1: Act 1: The beginning.....

1969 Chevy C-10 @80,000 miles

Heres the scoop. My first post on this forum was in 2006. I had finally got my truck. I got the truck from a great couple. They gave me a great deal (1000 clams) under one condition...that I took great care of it and didn't part it out! No Problem!! Due to my career I moved around alot. I moved from Mississippi...to Huntsville...to Ohio....and finally I am back in Hattiesburg, MS. Ready to start my build. It basically still looks the way it did when I bought it. I put in new window/door seals...new heater core...tore out the a/c hoses...got all the lights working (including dash lights)...and im sure a lot of other little things ...

After debating with myself (does that make me insane?) I have decided to start on suspension.

Stage 1: parts on order
Drop Spindles
Disk Brakes
Cnotch
Air Bag System (sittin on the ground)

Pics from 2006 when I first bought it..

That truck looks purty just the way it is. Drive it till the wheels come off, pull over put them back on, and drive it some more.
