Question NP 241 speedo???

I have a 81 K30 crewcab with a 350 HO crate motor and a 91' T400 trans with a NP241. The 205 that was in it had a speedocable... the 241 has electronic. NOW OL'WISE MEN...How can I over come this. I can onlty use the excuse that my speedo is broke just so many times.

'88 and maybe '89 241s still had the mechanical speedo setup. If you could find one of those cases, you could use it or swap parts off it. Maybe you could go to an aftermarket speedometer that can use the electronic speed sensor that you have.

I'm kinda cheap. I might end up taking the wiring harness out of the 91' but I really don't want to. I just got done changing it out from a '87.
