Big trucks still on the job

I've seen threads on old trucks back in the early days. Yesterday I was amazed to see this old GMC still very much in use on a construction crew.

What other 1972 and older big trucks are still on the job?

I wonder if it still has the original motor or has that been swapped out for modern power.

A big rig like that probably would have/had a 401 or 478 V6. Be a sin to change one of those out for a chevy v8. Nice truck though!

Saw this a few weeks ago when going through Wickenberg, AZ and when traveling through that area again, I stopped and snapped a few pics. Met the guy and and he's using it for off-road recovery! That thing is a Beast!!!
