Transmission swap 2003 sierra from a 2005 blazer

Question for those that know these GM transmissions. Transmission in 03 sierra lost reverse. Was given a tranny from a 05 s10 blazer. If the blazer tranny will mount to the XCase,
Will this tranny work in the sierra? Sierra has 5.3 liter engine so I would at least need to swap the bell housing . Thanks

I believe they both used 4l60e, and a Chevy bell is a Chevy bell, so that should work.
I wonder if the computer stuff is compatible 05 to 03?
Hatzie??
