Re: Seam Sealer ?
Many folks use a self-leveling 2K seam sealer for horizontal areas like the drip rail. I haven't done it yet.
I did the underside of my cab in ordinary SEM 2K Seam Sealer. No complaints.

Re: Seam Sealer ?
Self leveling is what you want for drip rails, it will flow and level out to a glass-smooth finish that only needs scuffing before sealer/paint. It's too thin for normal seams so you'll want a normal seam sealer for that. Two part sealers are best, they won't shrink later. I like Fusor 122ez for drip rails and SEM 39377 for other seams.

Re: Seam Sealer ?
After you remove the old seam sealer I would suggest a good acid etch prior to priming. Soak the seam for a day or two. Use a paintbrush to apply to metal prep into the drip rail. After it dries prime it, and go from there.

Re: Seam Sealer ?
Fusor is in the "change-over" phase to the smaller tubes like the SEM. as long as you purchase the new short Fusor tubes you will be good. Lorne

Re: Seam Sealer ?
Eastwood seam sealer uses a regular caulking gin . Your cab has to be level and
the self leveling sealer sets up fast so you need to be ready to do it all in less than 5 minutes . if you use masking tape be ready to remove it as soon as possible once the sealer sets the tape will be very hard to remove https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yCa9zzkMvo http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=783262&page=2 https://www.eastwood.com/ew-2k-self-...cartridge.html https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbuvdY0lzTg Watch all the stout customs videos . https://www.youtube.com/c/StoutCustom/videos
