GIANT 60-66 parts Stash Barn Find!!

Per the rules ... parts and prices need to be posted. Thanks

Well, every now and again a guy just gets plain lucky. Myself and another board member (sweptline) were out scavenging for truck parts and stumbled across a guy who had 6 or 7 60-66 parts trucks in a fenced area with all kinds of grilles, steering colums, beds, doors etc all around them so we stopped and asked and it turned out he also had a whole building full of loose 60-66 stuff too. We saw a lot of stuff in this "barn find stash" that we both needed for our 3 or 4 project trucks and luck was with us because this guy really wanted to move all of it and totally get out of fooling with old trucks altogether, so we struck a deal and bought him completely out.

We are still hauling everything from his place to ours and do not have pictures of all the parts trucks, no even 1/3 of the parts we bought, but I uploaded the first 200 pictures covering what we have identified so far and you can see everything in my Webshots album by copying and pasting this link: http://rides.webshots.com/album/5824...ides&start=108

Basically it looks like we have at least 1 of every conceivable part to fit a 60-66 truck - I know there are 2 factory automatic columns, factory power steering and 4 near perfect hoods worth 200.00 each easy - there are doors fenders grilles - everything. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you are ANYWHERE near Alabama that you strongly consider driving in and looking at all this stuff and maybe taking a parts / project truck home with you too. I will post specific details on each truck in case someone wants to buy a parts truck - everything else is loose parts for sale. If you do not see it in my initial pics, I assure you we have it - inquire - Thank you guys and sorry for so many pictures but I had to show all the angles to each truck so there are a lot to look through.....thanks! GMCNUT and Sweptline

We have a variety of front fenders for your 65 - some in nicer shape than others. We have one perfect bondo and rot free dent free Drivers side fender for 200.00 already sanded and etch primed and ready for paint, but all the rest are originals that are unrestored and have various imperfections - a pair of normal unrestored but not rotted front fenders will be around 150 each or 300 for the set. Cheaper if you want fenders you can patch or that have a small amount of bondo etc....we can fit any budget - trust me.

That clock looks like a 56 or 57 car clock, how much for a chrome sport bumper like the one on that blue stepside with brackets.

The chrome rear bumper on the Green 63 GMC stepside is 100.00 with brackets. Can be shipped via FedEx or by Greyhound. Hard to say what that would cost without removing it so if you are committed to the 100.00 price I have another one off another truck I can use to weigh and see what shipping will be. Send your zip - Thank you

Sorry for the slow replies to everybody - getting caught up now

The clock is completely unknown to me as far as when it last functioned or whether it would work but it looks super cool anyway - just make an offer keeping its rarity in mind

The side trim is very nice and is being sold as a 100% complete ready to be polished set - appears to be pretty close to ding free if not.....175.00 for the complete set and that includes the short fleet box pieces.

Should have one but so far every single one I have ever found had at least some hairline stress cracking at the spoke-to-base area....let me check and see

Well, Kenmel I am sorry - the one we picked up today was supposed to be a manual but it turned out to have a T350 in it - sorry

I did find you a set in the junkyard but I did not pull them thinking we were about to have a set, so I will see if they are still there this week when I check back

OK - I have already told several members the same thing on the fenders so its first come first serve on who responds saying they want this one or that one. We have a perfect driver side fender already sanded and Etch primed - no bondo and no dents - perfect original GM steel ready for paint 200.00

If 200.00 is too nice or expensive, we have a Drivers side front fender in every conceivable condition for every price point based on what you want to spend vs what you are willing to repair. We currently have some nicer unrestored solid fenders for like 150.00 and some with more pinholes or paint bubbles in the lower section for say 75.00 to 100.00 etc....less if you want a straight fender you can fix. Just let me know what condition you are most interested in and I can send pictures

On the harness, I assume you mean the taillight harness that runs from the firewall to the rear of the frame - this is a bonded set of pink purple and black wires on 62. The taillights are a separate plug in harness - so do you just need the main harness to the rear of the frame?

Sorry - forgot the mirrors - we got a set of chrome 5" round headed mirrors and chrome arms off a 60-66 that have some surface rust on the screws on the mirror head, but are either stainless or chrome - 40.00 on those - perfect mirrors

At least the Lights, Wipers, and the other one of the three that I can't remember what it does right at this moment.
