Van VINs and SPIDs

Does anyone know where the van VINs and SPIDs are located during this era of vans (not trucks).?

I believe with trucks that GMC did not always put the VIN on the frame and that Chevrolet usually did. Wondering if it’s the same for vans.

There’s a nice 1966 GMC Handi-Van on bringatrailer and the poor guy has no VIN.

It says it has a clean Texas title. Wouldn't you need a serial number for that?

Title might have been around longer than the repaint/restoration....

Thanks for this. I don't think many GMC trucks had VINs on the frame but it sounds like from your links that, if one did exist, it would be on top of the frame near the left motor mount or under the cab.
