94 1500 4X4 will not start & run
have good fuel pressure yet the injectors in my tbi will not work. i can energize them myself and thay work. when I present bat voltage to the dist ref (pink w/white wire) from the dist to the ecm the injectors will work. I have replaced the ecm and the ignition mod and there has been no change. what can I do to get an energizing signal to the injectors in my tbi?

Re: 94 1500 4X4 will not start & run
The computer needs to receive a distributor reference pulse from the distributor module to trigger the injectors.
A bad distributor module or wiring between the module and the ECM/PCM can cause this. You replaced the ECM and the distributor module but still get not injector pulses. Is there spark at the spark plugs? A bad pickup coil in the distributor can also cause no spark and no injector triggering. Did you make sure the distributor is turning? Welcome to the message board!

the truck will run on starting fluid, thus telling me that I do have spark and timing is good. I did check the pink w/white wire between the dist. and ecm, and of course it is ok also.

Chevytech is right, it is more than likely the ignition module. If it is bad, the injectors will not pulse. Was your part new? I have replaced the one in our 92 work van, and my Tahoe. Same symptoms, fixed it both times. Chevytech is da' man
