Right on! I can't imagine (well, I can) watching someone fall from some height. No interest in seeing that in real life.

Re: Random pictures that you did not take.

I remember going to a local dirt track and they had a motorcycle jumping sprint cars. The guy missed big time and went cartwheeling down the track. He got busted up pretty good. Not something I want to see ever again. I dont care for death and mayhem =)

I was a big boxing fan, never saw in person just on TV. Years ago we went to a big match in Seattle, Ali was even in the stands. We weren't ringside, but pretty close. I was shocked at how different it was in person vs watching on TV. No more live matches for me. TV dulls the senses for sure, Ill watch via my couch =)

Re: Random pictures that you did not take.

I was taken to a boxing match once. I admit my favorite part was the card girls...ooh la la
So they work you up to the big match, bigtime winner vs challenger. What a joke. The challenger was this fat out of shape looking guy. It was so obvious it was set up so the champ could rack up another win. Fat boy was in the ropes more than out for a fight. And then he'd do that get too close to box let's hug thing. It was not a fight at all. The best part was when the guy in front of me yelled, "Give him a hamburger!"

Re: Random pictures that you did not take.

I've seen enough fist fights that I really don't enjoy hockey games. Just kidding, I really don't see the point of two palookas beating the snot out of each other in the boxing ring. While I'm about it, I'll just lodge a general complaint about Hollywood's depictions of a fight. My wife was watching some Mission Impossible movie, and two guys were going at it. One guy does a roundhouse kick to back of the other guy's head, who gets up and keeps going. My experience is, a guy gets punched, and he falls down. Done, fight's over. Been on both sides of that.

Re: Random pictures that you did not take.

What's the point of one group of men fighting to keep the other group from getting a pig skin ball that defies the definition of "ball" across lines on a field? Or any sport? How about spending huge sums of money to make a car unusable on the street they only drive 1/4 mile at a time or one that only goes around in a circle counterclockwise for 500 miles? Some questions you just don't ask. It's entertainment. I see your point. But we've some a long way from the days of gladiators. Boxing is funny. Like you said, two guys beating the crap out of each other, and they where hug padded mittens so the don't hurt each other while a third guy not involved in a fight also makes sure they only hurt each other in certain ways and no in other ways. What I ask, is why do they need to have sex bomb women in skimpy duds and hi-heels walk around holding up a number? Uh, strike that. Forget I asked

Reminds me of a cattle skull by a watering hole. Was the water toxic or did it not quite make it before dying from thirst?

I'd drive this one but I don't have the track

Looks like cross between a Locomotive, a Chris-Craft Connie, and a Nash.

i was going to suggest the same thing,an awful lot of a GM look to that locomotive and those boats are gorgeous, any of those old boats, the Garwoods, any of that style are indeed beautiful.the maintenance would eat you alive but they sure are pretty.

Re: Random pictures that you did not take.

Mammoth Spring, AR a long time ago. If you are not familiar with it, the river starts where this large spring comes out of the ground. Cold enough to support a trout population and great smallmouth fishing downstream.
