Re: Finally found a Burb and it followed me home.

We had fun with our group too. Camaro with LS3, 56 with 5.3, Coronet with 6.2 Hemi and Charger with a 440. And our Burb did well. Folks were confusing it with the Duramax Burb from Iowa.

Thanks Tinkergmc. Burb runs out pretty nice though after 10 hours of driving over two days I can tell it really needs good shocks. Chase at Ridetech said he could fix me up.

Thanks 98, GAc10boy and Jim! HRPT is a lot of fun...even if you only make a few of the stops.

Appreciate your club helping out! Our last stop was St. Louis and our friend really thought we had decided to roll on down to Memphis when he saw your Burb. He did a double take. Great looking Suburban you have!

I saw your burb as you were leaving St. Louis, but never got a chance to meet you. It looked nice rolling down the road though.

Thanks smbrouss70. Would have liked meeting you. My buddy driving the 56 Chevy that day mentioned you said hello.

Re: Finally found a Burb and it followed me home.

nice burb
i like the body style

i see it's a 3 door, when did they come out with 4 doors?
what a silly design, as if passengers were too dumb to get out on that side
still beats the 2 doors like everything up to that model

Thanks Ogre, the four door came out as a 1973 model. Many people do a double take when they see the door configuration.

Re: Finally found a Burb and it followed me home.

Skymangs..Chris of Old Sarge customs had a shop fire and was severly injured. He will need rehabilitation as well. He is a great guy and has helped many on here with their builds and questions.

To help with the medical bills and expenses a fund has been set up here....http://gofundme.com/c49h5mjx8

More details are here...http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=676217

Whatever you can give will really help. Thank you.
