Has anyone replaced the front coils with airbags?

Hi I have a 78 shortbox with drop spindles and I want to replace the front coils with airbags has anyone done this? I have airbags just wondering if one needs to fab up specific brackets or just do some straight spacers and bolt them in?

Probably depends on how low you want to go. Most I see cup the lower arms to get even lower. Probably going to have to fab something up to work though

Re: Has anyone replaced the front coils with airbags?

I bagged my 80 square stepper several years ago. I bought a bracket kit that was basically a cup for the lower and a plate for the upper mount. I don't remember the brand name but I had zero issues with thousands of miles driven. The truck went to a new owner roughly 4 years ago and he still cruises on the same setup.

This shot is aired out, if you want to go lower be prepared for a bunch of fab work.

If you want to fab them you can but they are out there pretty cheap.
