New Dana 60 Posi-fs

Here's a nice item I just took in trade. New original Dana Spicer Trak Lock posi center section. Randy's Ring & Pinion (they have low prices) says he sells it for $350///////////so I will sell it for: $250 + shipping.

I'm interested! Do you know if it is necessary to reset the pinion or is it a straight swap?

You do not have to reset the pinion, because the ring gear always runs in the same location in reference to the center of the bearing saddles. It is a good idea to check the back lash with a dial indicator before and after the changeover, to get the exact same tooth depth, but you can almost feel it by hand, if you can remember what it felt like before and after---LOL.

I guess I should say, "if it fits a 4:10 gear set then consider it sold".
