Re: What is cool

I think this will be a great thread. For me, here is my "cool".

55.2-59 chevy 1 or 2 ton. Lifted, 4x4, manual transmission, duramax or cummins, crew cab conversion, babble, ramble, yada yada yada. Oh yeah, and the money tree seed.

Seriously though, , lifted (leveled if not 4x4), looks old and beat up while packing some SERIOUS heat under the hood. BAD AZZ looking farm rig kind of thing. Okay, I've rambled long enough.

Re: What is cool

That is a sweet gmc stepside! I like lifted or stock height for something to drive on the dirt roads and play in. For a hot/rat rod, it's the other way around. I like that low, fat, aggressive, "get the crap out of the way and SHUT YOUR STUPID FACE" look. The only thing I would do different is put a little smaller tire in the front and a fat street slick in the rear.

What's cool in my books is when you can see the persons own flavor and character put into their truck. Something that you're not going to see every day

Re: What is cool

Mr Pops, i think it is a 1939 La Salle coupe.
http://gomotors.net/LaSalle/LaSalle-...l#.UXv8iWS9LTo
"The LaSalle was an automobile product of General Motors Corporation and sold as a companion marque of Cadillac from 1927 to 1940. The two were linked by similarly themed names, both being named for French explorers — Antoine Laumet de La Mothe, sieur de Cadillac and René-Robert Cavelier, Sieur de La Salle, respectively" (wikipedia)
