I should have a couple of them, I assume this is for a 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive?

Re: WTB - 71/72 Drag link

So I take it your not wanting me to see what the shipping cost for mine to you will be? I just pulled it off this morning and prepped it for finding out shipping cost tomorrow.

No that isn't needed, I had a PM from him about the drag link I offered. see below.

And then I see that he made a deal for another one before I could get it to the post office for shipping cost.

No big deal, but I did spend time to pull it and package it for an estimate.

His PM;

Drag link
Hey bud,
That's a little steep, thought I had one bought for $25. But give me an idea of shipping cost to 35116 and ill see what I can do.
I do appreciate it.

I apologize for my inconvenience. You didn't communicate to me that you were moving forward. It's a time sensitive issue for me and I needed a ball rolling promptly. I am sorry for my impatience but in this case it was necessary. But I do apologize for your wasted effort.

Re: WTB - 71/72 Drag link

Sorry I didn't get that the urgency was that intense, plus it was Friday night and only so much I could do to pull the part off in the dark, and get it in the mail.

Here is how I see that it went down.

Friday evening on 9-13-13

You posted WTB at 9:28 pm

I responded at 9:37 pm I had some and asked about the exact application

You returned a response at 9:39 pm with confirmation

Then I responded back at 9:43 pm and I responded with a price

And then you PM me at 9:54 pm with this response

Hey bud,
That's a little steep, thought I had one bought for $25. But give me an idea of shipping cost to 35116 and ill see what I can do.
I do appreciate it.

So Saturday morning I had other things going on (that I could have postponed for your needs), if I knew of your urgency., I could have pulled it and got down to the UPS store and found out the cost, and then responded back hoping that you received it promptly I could have turned around and got it coming your way.

So no hard feelings it was only 15 to 20 minutes to pull it and get the shipping tube set up for it.

I guess if it is something of that has that major of a need let it be known. And plus you kinda balked at my price I offered it to you, so I got the hint that you were shopping for best price.

So we are all friends here with the same addiction. If something comes up and I can help you or vice-versa there is no hard feelings.

Later
Brian

I should have communicated things better. Again I'm sorry. And thanks for the gesture, I assure you I'm on the learning end of this forum, and, Addiction may be putting things lightly.

Re: WTB - 71/72 Drag link

No problem, I sometimes type out something and in my mind have different intentions needed to communicate.

Same with me on the "learning end" about the forum.

I've been messing with these for 27 years, and need to sell one before I start the next one. And I'm so ready to get back into doing my crew cab. But holding off till I sell the shortbed.

Let me know if you ever need anything else, I working on getting my extras sold off.

Re: WTB - 71/72 Drag link

I'm certainly envious now. Crew cab?? The closest I've been to one is a buddy sending me a pic of one he drove by in Memphis about a month ago. And it sure was sexy.
