What drive shaft to use

Just totaled my 04 cts V and thinking of buying it back and installing the LS6 and T56 in my 70 suburban. Also may add the 2010 Cts v blower I have on top of it.
My question is what driveshaft are you guys using the stock one and just changing the length of it. I have the the driveshaft from my Cts v so was thinking of bringing it to a local driveline shop and having the front yolk adapted onto the stock driveshaft.
I wonder how much my stock driveshaft can handle??

I would scrap the idea of using a stock shaft, especially if you are planning to put a supercharger on it. Your stock driveshaft was designed to live behind an engine making maybe 180HP and turning lower overall speeds than you would with an overdrive trans like a T56. A new aluminum driveshaft isn't super expensive. It's worth the upgrade.

There are a few people/companies that make adapters. Not sure how they impact flow, but that's somewhat of a moot point with forced induction, I suppose.

So I ended up building a 6.0 with CTS V LSA blower and heads with brian tooley stage 3 camshaft. I will problbly be making anywhere from 600 to 625 HP. I plan on starting the swap in the next month. So the stock driveshaft will probably grenade or snap in half correct?
So far I have a Th400 built for boost with a Sunex forged yolk. I may install a gear vendors overdrive unit on the back of the transmission. From what I understand I should keep it a 2 piece driveshaft with a carrier bearing Correct?
I believe a one piece shaft will have a vibration.

I put a 1 piece in my suburban with a GV unit and even with my pinion angles correct I still have a vibiration. I will be going back to a 2 piece to try and resolve the vibiration
