Re: 84 stepside rebuild #2

slowly been doin work but id rather drink beer then get any actuall work done got the doors front and rear fenders stripped and epoxied. did an axle flip on the rear to try and get my idea for ride height but ps spring is broke now im waitin on E-town swap meet to hopefully find a set of 73-80 fenders for the front. since i started this ive changed engines to use one now my 455 is gone guy who was supposed to help build is a dick bag after all the help i gave him so no motor picked out now just keep on fixin rust and wait for one to fall in my lap

Re: 84 stepside rebuild #2

Been awhile since I've done anything with this project other then collect parts at shows when I find exactly what I want. Painted my daily driver and rebuilt the trans in my ram and drank copious amounts of alcohol between working and all the bad luck. Decided a new cab was the way to go with all the rot in firewall. Got a great deal on a cleaner truck with a motor punched .040 over started pulling it apart and then get some bad wind and the tree it was next to took it out in march. Scrapped it and saved a few parts and left it sit deciding whether to just junk it all and buy a 70s dodge w200 like I'd rather own. I just focused on work and was sent a link to another stepside at the end of the summer picked it for a great price tbi350/700r4 cleanest stepside bed I've seen in a long time only downside is I made the deal with no title and I'm gonna cut the cab up to fix my original. So started cleaning out the shop to get it in for cab repair
