Thumbs up cleaning off rubber floor mats - the easy way

Well - I have used this method for some time - and it makes the job so easy to do...

1. Take your dirty rubber floor mats and put them on something to hang them up or at least a slope enough for water to run off of them.

2. Find the cheapest 'No Touch' foaming tire cleaner at your local store.

3. Spray the cleaner on the mats and walk away - all the dirt, dust, hair, etc. will come right off leaving a film on the mats. This also makes it a lot easier to clean them the next time (you can just use a hose).

4. Wipe down the mats with a paper towel or shop rag to remove the excess cleaner.

5. Put the mats back in the truck -

An over the road truck driver buddy of mine said that he uses "scrubbing bubbles". It's a bathroom cleaner that works wonders! It also works good on your pedal pads.

I use the same stuff I use on my tires, wesley's whitewall cleaner. Spray that stuff on & let it sit for a minute or two, tiny bit of scrubbing with a medium bristle brush and rinse with water. They look brand new and have no slick residue.
