5.3 alternator bracket w/o power steering - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I've got a 5.3L with the truck accessory brackets but I'm not going to use the power steering, does anybody know of an alternator-only bracket? I've seen the vette and camaro brackets but they won't work with truck set up. Am I stuck fabricating one?

It whould be a good time to switch to power steering?

well the plan is to put this in my '50 chevy probably with a MII suspension and manual rack. I'm concerned about clearance near the steering box side and also I've heard of some issues with the power racks. I guess if I cleared those two items up then maybe I would just use the power steering bracket and pump since I already have them.
