my '85 k10 build

i've been working on this truck for quite a while now, i'm just not that great at remembering to take pics... i'm still trying to find some before pics. i started out with a bone-stock 1985 Chevy K-10 with a 305/700r4.

what i've done so far:

-Motor
350 block .060 overbore, factory crank & rods
hypercuetic pistons w/ 9:4 comp.
stock vortec heads
flat tappet cam 204/215 dur, 420/443 lift
jegs 331 high rise intake
holley 600
headers (wrapped) w/ 2-1/4" exhaust & glasspacks
summit HEI w/ 8mm wires @ 14* base, 32* total
MSD Street Avenger CD ignition

-Tranny
TCI manual valve
corvette servo
beast shell
2k converter
more...i'll update later

-rebuilt front end
-6" rough country suspension lift
-35x12.50x15 mastercraft mud terrains
-kenwood stereo
-audiovox alarm/keyless entry

Future Mods:
-4.56 gears ASAP
-subwoofers
-15x10 ralley wheels
-spray-in bedliner
-tonneau cover
-limited slip rear
-nos?

Nice work! That engine looks clean. I'm building your truck's cousin. It looks real similar except it's a stepside.

Re: my '85 k10 build

the holley was being finnicky, so i rebuilt it today...i had a pretty bad hestiation off idle i couldnt get rid of beforehand, and this afternoon i was spinning the 35s on dry asphalt even with my whimpy gears... so i'm pretty pleased with the results

photos are a before and after...
