If I remember right there is a little red tab you press in and pull plug, gm offers a barb that snaps in for 7 bucks. Maybe some one will chime in with the pt # it's been long since I did mine

Re: how to remove vaccum line for hydroboost

I bought a rubber cap from Amazon and pulled the line off of the back of the intake and the rubber cap fit good and tight over the barbed piece. Here is what I bought- Amazon.com: Dorman 02253 Bypass Cap Assortment - Pack of 8: Automotive

Any one know the part number for the barb fitting for the intake manifold for vacuum brake booster?

I have been searching with no luck. I picked up an engine out of an express van that had hydroboost, but I want to stick with standard brake booster.

Thanks
for the help.

So you don't have to go looking #12559760. That is what I also removed off my 6.0 when I did my Lemans convert but I used it on my 89 C1500 diesel changeover. Jim
