in the weeds

wanted to know how one would lower the front of a 61 it has the torsion bar setup on it i never played w/ this type of suspension any info would help thanx Pugs

Hey, In my humble opinion the best thing to do is upgrade to a 1973-1987 IFS of a 1/2 ton GMC or Chevy truck. The control arms just about bolt into place and you can do the entire swap for about $400-$500 dollars if you are careful about where you get your parts from. Past that man, no clue.

YEP................BUT I'D SAY FROM 71-87...............71 WAS THE FIRST YEAR FOR DISC BRAKES...........AND YOU CAN MAKE THAT WORK FOR SOMEWHERE IN THAT PRICE RANGE......................HEMMIT
