Why is my ignition hot wire constantly live?

1967 C10 with an LS swap.
Tested my pink ign wire and it's constantly hot! Started up the LS finally after a 2 year swap out and I couldn't shut it off... She's ok though... I pulled the fuel pump relay and let it Peter out but I need to figure this out before I start her up again. Any ideas?
I tested the pink ignition wire at the switch and it was hot with the ignition off. Think it might be a bad ignition switch itself?

Re: Why is my ignition hot wire constantly live?

were you using the wire that went to the distributor?...and it should be switch on hot...not constant....youll need to test some wiring to find one from the switch that is switch on/off

Re: Why is my ignition hot wire constantly live?

This is not an LS question mods it's an oem ignition problem. Could it please be moved back?
