wanted

I am interested in a K30, anywhere from mid seventies to mid 80's with a decent body. Does not have to have motor or transmission. However I do prefer that it is a manual transmission set up. I might also consider a K20. I am in Virginia so East coast trucks preferred.

Well, lets see. I'll be honest with you it is fairly rough.

Its a 1971 C10 LWB all original. It has the 307 V8 and turbo hydra-matic 350 transmission; 3.73 rears. It runs and drives good, but the motor burns alot of oil so it will need some work if you want to use it. It has the custom Deluxe interior package. It is 2 tone light blue and white which is also the factory color. It has been a southern truck all its life as far as I know. The frame is in good shape. The body has rust everywhere these trucks have rust, rocker panels, cab corners etc etc. The floor board is in pretty good shape. It will need alot of body work. It has fairly high orginal miles. I bought it to restore but now I don't have the time or funds to do it. I drove it for several thousand miles when I first bought it but it has been sitting under a shelter for about a year now. However, eventhough it is rough now it has potential to be a very nice truck. I would probably sell it fairly cheap so if you are still interested make me an offer. If you have anymore questions send me an email at wdawley@vt.edu I will try to get some pictures, right now I have none on my computer.

Tell me what you have in mind exactly. I might have exactly what you are looking for. I have a 77 K30 that might interest you.

Well, just about any K30, single rear wheel or duallie, either is fine. It doesn't have to have a good motor. I am looking for one to do a Cummins or some form of diesel conversion on. I am looking for one set up for a manual transmission but that is not a necessity. I just need one with a good body, because I cannot personally do body work and it costs alot to get it done and I have a very small budget. It doesn't have to be perfect, I just don't want one that is all rotted out, which I know is hard to find since these trucks love to rust. You can email me some pics and let me how much you would be asking for it at wdawley@vt.edu
