i am going to have to say my kids.. because when they start going through everything it's like.. grreeeaaat what's going to break now..
and WHY would you touch daddy while he's welding..
and of course it's WET dont touch it!

and.. then my blood pressure shoots up.. and so on and so forth..

In my shop the most dangerous tool is usually the idiot operator that doesn't follow the safety rules. This results in mangled body parts, such as the tablesaw fingernail trim.

some times the most dangerous thing in the shop ,is me, not really paying attention to what I'm doing with any power tool,
that's including the stand up grinder,, ouch Fred that looks cute !!! i forgot to put on some gloves one time and almost got one of my fingers, get well Fred and watch out for the most dangerous tool in your shop..

Shop at home: Framing nailer. Nailed skipped and lodged in first finger on other hand, on my birthday no less. But was pleased to see hospitable uses craftsman vice grips with demerol to pull out objects like that. (tried to pull it out myself, but ringshank nails in bone are a *****).

Shop at work. THE STUDENTS I teach. very enthusiatic, but kids have no sense of there own mortality. Forklifts, presses, iron workers, grinders, oxy torches, table saw. Average 1 injury a month, not bad considering the number of students in program. But table saw(s) have to be fed once a year it seems to keep them happy.

im going to also have to say the 7" black and decker wildcat grinder - especially when fitted with a 12" blade from the chop saw - i didnt get hurt but it was intense - we had a long safety meeting before we started cutting that day

Ha! I got a ringshank right in the shin when I was framing. I had to use my own pliers to pull it out even though it was only in 1".

Also, the press is bad. Me and my nephew were pressing wheel studs in a Toyota hub, turns out dude at NAPA gave us ones a little too big. Pressure went up, part cocked and slapped him in the pinky and TOTALLY exploded it! There was meat hanging out of three places. Lots of stitches later it looked like an italian sausage. Not quite as bad as the time he shortened his thumb to the first knuckle on a 12" sander with 36 grit. Better him than me... I guess.

Bandsaw is my most dangerous tool. I have not had any bad experiences with it. My wire feed got me pretty good. I was welding shut a hole in my bed rail. I had gloves on and was holding a metal plate underneath to weld to. The wire slipped through a crack and burned through my glove and about an inch down inside the tip if my finger.

Welder.. was moving it around to the other side of my truck, threw the nossle over my shoulder and the wire feed went thru my thin pants and into my right buttcheek.. not a good feeling lol.

I would have to say I am the most dangerous tool in my shop. I have never had a tool jump out of my tool box and bite me. It's always me who uses a cheap socket and too long of a ratchet on a really tight bolt that causes the loss of blood and skin on my knuckles.

Grinders for sure ..
I Have made far too many trips to the Eye doctor to have them scrape a steel spark out of my eye.
I used to wear a shield but sparks would bounce in behind the shield and head for my eye. I wear prescription glasses and plastic safety goggles when I grind now but still always getting dirt or something in my eyes.
I have been pretty lucky ,I still have all 10 fingers and toes.

Die grinder with a cutoff wheel (done that) and table saw kick-backs (saw that).

Otherwise, leaving crap on the floor to slip/trip on (done that a bunch).

Been there done that. Let's just say I have a matching pair of scars. One on my right knee the other on the Marble Pouch. Talk about not cool.

4-1/2" milwaukee grinder with a wire wheel. Leaned in a little too far yesterday and it sucked up my right sleeve. I almost pooped. I also had the same tool take 1/4" out of my index finger when it had a grinding disc on it.
After that maybe my welder...I've burned the same foot twice with embers (don't weld sitting down cross-legged) and lit myself on fire a number of times.
