1984 1/2ton 4x4 suburban questions

I`m almost redy to pick up a 84 suburban from my father in law. Just need to get it smogged and bring it home. It needs a new headliner. Who makes a good quality headliner for a decent price? Also, what would it take to convert it to a 2wd? If I do it, it won`t be for a long time but I`m wondering what all is needed to convert it from 4wd to 2wd since I don`t use 4wd at all. Thanks.

The conversion is the same as a truck. Lot of work. You can do the headliner yourself. www.jcwhitney.com and www.lmctruck has materials available. Order the sub catalogue from LMC truck, it's free!!
