72 C-20 Roof skin

Afternoon Guys I am going to replace my roof skin cause it's toast I'm trying to find a good thread on how to install can someone direct me to a couple good threads Thanks Saddletramp

I replaced the top skin on mine with a tri-plus reproduction skin this year. I dont have a thread, but did this by using panel-bond on the rear seam (above the glass) and welded the other 3 sides. It was a big project but not much bigger that a rocker and cab corner.

It is debatable whether panel bond is the right product to re-attach the rear seam. You cannot weld it where the factory did it.

I will say the tri plus replacement fit just as well as the original skin did. I was lucky and did not have to modify anything
