antenna help

guys,
Are any of the hidden antenna's any good? Dont really want an antenna installed on the outside of the truck and am just brainstorming right now for the best way to handle it. If they are not worth messing with, would a mast antenna inside the bed work - or would all the metal kill the signal? thanks

Re: antenna help

i have a $10 cheapo autozone antenna mounted under my truck next to the passenger rocker
works well enough, not that i listen to much radio, mostly mp3s
i made a bracket to mount the base and then slid some rubber hose over the mast and ty wrapped it to the rocker
you don't want the mast grounded
