Pictures of a Blue/White Burb please!

Can anyone/someone please post a picture of a blue/white burb? I'm wanting to paint mine the original colors but I just need a good clear picture of one to make sure I like the blue.
Thanks for any help,
Joe from Kansas

How about this one? Is this the paint scheme you're wanting to see?

Re: Pictures of a Blue/White Burb please!

Yes! I want the white (pearl white??) on the roof and bottom, but undecided about the color of blue. Is that original, then do you know the name of it? I'm thinking also of maybe a electric blue or pearl blue.
Thanks for the help.

It is the original paint. I also have a picture of the spid that shows the paint code, I believe.

How's this?

Thanks again. I'm going to try to post 2 pictures of what mine looks like to show you the blue. It looks a bit lighter than yours doesn't it? (I talking about the 2nd pict.)

Yeah, I agree that your blue looks a shade or two lighter than the one I posted.

Not even close...

I was thrown off because of the color combo for some reason.

Sdaily,
You must have the dark blue, I believe mine is the light blue. I saw this site I have listed awhile back ago and forgot about it.

Yeah it's dark blue. Look at the lower left column of the spid picture I posted and it shows the color combo.

Re: Pictures of a Blue/White Burb please!

my dad's 72 burb (back in the 80's) looked just like sdailey's except without the white at the bottom...it was the darker....the color is Mariner blue. it even had the same tripod mirrors that are far more useful (and better looking on a truck) than the dinky little sport mirrors on my 72 all Hawaiian Blue burb.

Joe, if you are wanting Pearl White, go with Cadillac paint codes. Also, if you are trying to picture a good color of blue to go with the pearl white, look into "Surf Blue". It's the new blue they put on Challengers and Chargers. Trevor

Wow, thank you! I love that surf blue!

Is there a software that I can post the picture of my burb and then "try" on the colors to see what it will look like??

Unfortunately, there isn't a program like that. Photoshop is more or less what everyone uses. Trevor

Re: Pictures of a Blue/White Burb please!

Here are pics of my blue, when I got it the previous owner had already given it the flat black treatment ... but he did send me a pic of what it looked like before.

Good luck.

Re: Pictures of a Blue/White Burb please!

PM sent. Thanks for reminding me of my great truck (hidden in garage!). Hard to have fun with it this time of yr.

Trying to decide 2010 plan. Might try something a little different with it. I am also trying not to let owning this truck stand in the way of resto. #3

Oh my goodness! At $400 a pop, that is crazy. Okay, is there a cheap place to buy auto paint other than at O'Reilys'?

Re: Pictures of a Blue/White Burb please!

I bought mine at NAPA. My paint and supplies ran around 800 total for my 69 suburban. ... and I did it cheap! I bought urethane enamel and I only painted the outside and used 2 gallons of paint, but then there are all the stuff that you have to buy with it, additives, hardeners, etching primer, high build primer, about a million grades of sandpaper, grease removers, mixing cups, ....

A buddy of mine bought his stuff at Sherwin Williams. It was only a little higher.

Good luck.
