...cool truck man, thanks for posting

P.s. I have an iPhone 4(not 4s) but the only way for me to post upright pics is to take the pic holding the phone sideways/horizontal. I can't figure out anyway to flip em if i took it holding the phone vertical.
This link goes into detail on the pics- http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=607332
Ha ha ha i hear ya thats what it looks like .

Re: Build start

I suggest you buy a good little digital camera...less than $100. You defiantly want to document your work on this for future reference, it's going to be a great truck!

Re: Build start

No new pictures worked on mocking up the serpentine belt set up. Have the Ac brackets ready to weld up .Put the ford 9 inch in today and set the pinion angle .Was going to put the axle on top of the leaf springs but with weight on it it was only about an inch from the frame.I didnt note the ride height before took it apart.Just going to put it under the leafs and see where it ends up lowered the front 3 so i might get away with using a custom pair of shackles on the rear of the springs and if thats not enough ill raise the front spring hanger .

Re: Build start

Looks like it's coming along nicely to me. I like the serpentine setup, what did you use for that? The frame looks bad ass too. You better have paid your buddy in lots of beer to wire wheel that thing. Lol.

Re: Build start

The belt drive set up is a cobbed together early 1987-88 454 system with a stamped steel braket on the D side alt,pwr steering pump side .And i made the Passenger side bracket from 1/4 steel plate.Used a 103 inch long belt.

[QUOTE=0311Chevy8152;7173875]Wish I lived closer, maybe out of both of us we could compensate for each others disabilities. I can only get a little while out of my new hip right now depending on how heavy of objects I carry and twisting to get into tight spots. Hope you are doing well with the hip .

Re: Build start

Well we made the Pigeon Forge show! The front brakes locked up had to adjust the valves the shifter came off in my hand and the clutch is weak when it gets hot and you can barely get it in gear .But we made it to Tennessee then Naples Florida and back to Md averaged 12 mpg .
