Fitech inline Fuel pump and Filter

I was having issues with my Fitech inline fuel pump starting to whine loudly and the engine bogging when hitting gas. I took out the the Pre filter and it looked gunked up (most likely the culprit). Has anyone cleaned these, know of a good way to do so and can I get a replacement filter for one? Google hasnt helped me except to just buy a whole new filter. Ive also emailed Fitech, but they are slow... I believe the Pre filter is Fitech 80111.

Re: Fitech inline Fuel pump and Filter

Look on the filter itself. There should be a number on it somewhere. Google it one should come up.
