Sheet Metal Replacement Panels

Where are you guys getting your replacement panels from? I need some panels for my 72 c5500, rockers, floors, possibly the side steps if i can find them and the inner fender wells. Looks like i might be making a lot of stuff myself.

No one is reproducing the parts that are unique to the medium duty trucks. We just have to adapt where we can, for example the rockers for the light duty trucks can be altered (so I'm told). The floor is different in the front but with creative metal work could probably be adapted. The best bet is just to find used parts, not the easiest but they do exist.

Re: Sheet Metal Replacement Panels

GM made 2 different body styles of MD trucks. The first was based off of the light duty cab, ie c20,c30 etc. They also had the standard style 1 piece hood. The other style was different and had a "butterfly" hood. It opens from the sides. The first style you can adapt most panels from the lLD truck to work, the other, I dont know. You have a pic of the truck?
