super weird blinker issue!
so im having a weird issue. i rewired my whole truck with an ez wire 21 circuit kit. now, i have the headlights and front blinker installed, but nothing in the rear is installed yet, just the plugs hanging.
i also had my column rebuilt by a forum member. so my issue is this, no blinkers at all! and the even more odd problem, when i push the hazard button in on the column, and hit the turn signal in any direction, my damn fuel pump kicks on! i can hear the fuse relays on the LS stand alone harness click. lol so weird. not in a big rush to figure this out just yet but i would obviously like to at some point. few other notes...it does have an LS swap, and the cluster is totally custom. no circuit board. i built it very similar to the one ls1nova71 had made.. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=512751 im not really sure where to even start looking for this issue

Re: super weird blinker issue!
If you are still using the old bi-metal flasher, it is working as designed. When a bulb burns out or in your case is missing, the thing won't flash to let you know to check the bulbs. Some heavy duty trailer rated flashers loose this feature. If the dash light just lights but doesn't flash, that is likely what is going on.
No clue on the fuel pump unless somehow it is triggering a pre-start pump up. |

Re: super weird blinker issue!
Recommend hooking up all lights before determining a problem. In my experience a burned out bulb creates fast flashing, not no flashing. Less resistance. Same reason led bulbs create fast flashing. Experienced this recently on my 2000 C2500.
