Re: Need some an fittings

I have the following:

3 6AN 90s
1 6AN 45

1 4' section of 6AN hose
3 1' section of 6AN hose

I just sold a bunch of 6AN and 8AN hose at the swpameet last year.

I don't recommend using SS rubber lines for fuel. The fuel will eventually eat away at the hose and the vapors will seep through the hose and stink up the garage. I switched to teflon lined hose and my garage doesn't stink of fuel anymore.

Re: Need some an fittings

So is the Teflon hose have a stainless covering?? Or is it like the blue push lock type of hose?

Re: Need some an fittings

The teflon hose is covered in SS braid just like the rubber hose. The overall diameter of the teflon hose is slightly smaller because of the teflon vs the rubber hose. But the teflon has a larger bend radius so you can't make as tight a bend. It is also more expensive.
It was worth it to me though. My wife was ready to kick the truck out of the garage since the smell from the fuel was so strong.
