Agree with Lee H. That is the best way to adjust your mirrors. You don't need to see your quarter panel, and that area is covered by your inside mirror anyway. It takes a bit of getting used to, but as Lee says, having the mirrors adjusted out virtually eliminates blind spots, if you use your inside mirror too.
