Re: No Limit Spy Photos

1) We use a Romic billit coil-over. They have worked with us for years to get the valving set correctly for the weight balance of a truck, not the average camaro. The lower mount is a 'trunion'. - These coilovers are display units, built to be at 'Ride Hieght'. The IFS will come with 5" stroke shocks, 12" - 17" and 12" springs. 2) The upper coil-over mount is part of the crossmember. 3)This is how get the track width without the bumpsteer. 4) The custom machined rack extension installs on the PASSENGER side only. Use red locktite. The factory rack boot will cover it just fine. 5) Bolt in the rack and tie-rod ends.

Can I ask why the offset on the rack? Why not just center the rack?
I am just wondering, i was going to center mine. "If I was to install my own" Would I lose travel?

Re: No Limit Spy Photos

1) Notice that the rack input passes under the motor mount. There is plenty of room for the steering U-joint (Included) With the tie rod ends mounting 'under' the steering arm, the rack is positioned 'low' on the crossmember. There is no need to Notch the frame for clearance. 2) Brakes and sway bar are a standard install. The swaybar uses one factory hole from the OE mount (removed), and one must be drilled (3/8" drill bit). 3) rotors have dual pattern and 1/2" studs. "small" pattern has 5 x 4 1/2" and 5 x 4 3/4", and "large" has 5 x 5" and 5 x 5 1/2". Dust caps are included.

Re: No Limit Spy Photos

I know you want to know the ride hieght. So, I rounded up some old rollers. Gotta love slots. 2) With the rollers on the front, and the frame set with a slight rake of 2 deg. the front rail is at 5". This is the same hieght as the JT. 3) an overview shows our high-tech rail stands. - Notice something missing?

Re: No Limit Spy Photos

Looks good just need your fat bar rear to go with it.
Oh in the last pic half the frame is missing guess this must be your frame rail conversion.

Re: No Limit Spy Photos

couple of question this package that you offer
1) does it require the frame to be c-notched
2) will the ride height match the wide ride
3) I know you offer shocks also

Trailing arm parts
2" block kits
Pro Panhard rod system
Re-located shock mount kit
High mount rear sway bar
3" drop variable rate springs
These parts can be used to upgrade any OE trailing arm rear suspension

These parts would net a 5" drop. At that point, you'r right on the line, so I would probably get a bolt-in notch. There are many out there and I don't see the point in making one. I have used the Early Classics units here. I'm sure there are others just as good. The WideRide IFS will drop from 4 1/2" to 6", in its adjustment range, so a 5" rear drop will have a slight rake.

Re: No Limit Spy Photos

Great news. We finished up the first run of crossmembers ahead of schedule. Complete IFS kits will run $2950.00. Thats hub to hub, coil-over, p/s, sway bar and motor mounts. Even the lower steering U-joint is included! Forum members get free shipping. We were going to hold off selling until july 4th (independence day) but sales are now going. Thanks for the great response.

Nice looking set-up! The fact that you don't have to notch for the r&p is a plus!

Re: No Limit Spy Photos

Rob

I see in one of your previous posts no 6 bolt "YET". Is it in the works? I like my 6 bolt wheel/tire setup and I have a 12 bolt rear end already in 6 bolt so I'd really like to keep the 6 bolt set up. What would be involved in making it work, is it even possible on your spindles? I've pretty well decided to go this route ie the full crossmember as I need all those parts anyways. I've only found one manufacturer offering a 6 bolt full cross member set up but to be honest I like the look of yours better.

Thx M5

Re: No Limit Spy Photos

6 lug is in the works. The rotor that we currently use is big enough, but here is what we have to do. 1) get a pair of blanks, with 6 lug ribbing. 2) machine in the 6 lug pattern. (thats the easy part) 3) Send them along with five grand of to ATL data labs, to be destroyed in testing. - Now, IF they surpass DOT spec, 4) Back to the foundry and order 1000 units, drilled, slotted, and zinc coated with the 6 lug pattern. 5) Find a place to store them, clean and dry. Oh yeah, got to pay for them too. - THEN, we can offer them for sale, and hope to get some orders. lol. thats the hot rod business. It's a big step, but it is in the works.

Re: No Limit Spy Photos

I´m really interested and so we should find out what shipping costs come together with the customs costs for overseas freight! It would be really bad if i have to put an additional 100 bucks in just for freight and customs!
What size is would be the freight and what weight?
I´ll ask the customs department what they´ll charge me when i have the data!
I´m really pressing my thumbs that its affordable!

Re: No Limit Spy Photos

Sorry i didn´t meant 100 but 1000 bucks for freight and customs!
I´m on a budget but also realistic! ;-)
I looked at the pics once more an it seems the frame is cut out where the motormounts are- is that right?

Re: No Limit Spy Photos

Will these WideRide setups work on a 72 4x4 frame? I'm converting a 72 Blazer to 2wd, and think this is just the ticket.

I believe so...so it stands to reason that yours would as well. Just wanted to ask in case there was something you guys knew about that may be an issue.
