Easy fix with a donor piece

2017 Sierra 1500 SLT 4WD, Black, 41k miles, 5.3, 6L80E, 3.42 LS, 20" polished wheels, everything but moonroof and 6.2...

2019 Canyon SLT 4WD, White, 60k miles, 3.6, 8L45, 3.23 LS, 18" wheels

Years ago a friend of mine cut a hole for his radio, in his 1956 Ford Truck, with a chisel and a hammer.
Maybe the same guy?

To be honest, I rebuilt the door hinges and I'm Still Not real happy with that door stop Hook. I might mod it using those holes (both doors have them).....

Actually I think The Torch originally went in there to mess with mirrors.

Those photos show that I just don't get very far outside of the box with my thinking. Maybe I need to work on that more.
